Tools 4 Developers (T4D) is a human-edited quality directory of links to good quality websites in the English language related to software development and localization.

Although our editors take every care to ensure that submissions meet our standards for quality, errors may occur, and the content of websites may change after submission. Tools 4 Developers cannot be held responsible for the content of any site listed in the directory.

With the submission of your web site to Tools 4 Developers you can do something really honorable.

Every payment for an accepted "Featured Listing" contains a USD 25 donation for a local animal shelter.

The makers of this web site them self adopted a little dog called "Struppi" from an animal shelter. T4D will collect that money and take care that the animal shelter we adopted Struppi from will get the donations.

If a submission with a payment is rejected by our editors we will donate the money in full. E.g. if you make a payment for a "Standard Listing" of USD 10 and this is rejected USD 10 will be donated. Or If you make a payment of USD 35 for a "Featured Listing" the whole sum of USD 35 will be donated.


Submission guidelines

Submissions will only be accepted if they meet our standards for quality. We will only accept submissions of sites that we consider to contain useful content. Payments are not refundable in the event that a submission is rejected, as the payment is for the editor's time, not for the actual submission. Payments for rejected entries will be donated in full. The decision of the editors as to whether to allow a submission to the directory is final.

Site submissions will be rejected if:

  • The site is not submitted to the most appropriate category.
  • The site does not contain useful or appropriate content.
  • The site is not an English language website.
  • The site is purely a vehicle for affiliate links.
  • The description contains spelling mistakes, subjective comments ("the best site..." etc.) or is inaccurate.
  • The reciprocal link (where required) cannot be found or is not at the same domain as the site submitted.

How to submit

To submit your site to the directory:

  • Navigate to the most appropriate category for the site.
  • Click on the Add a Site link on that page.
  • Complete all fields on the submission form.
